“Beautiful, rural trullo”
We have just had a very relaxing stay in trullo tranquillo. It just wouldn’t have been right to holiday in Puglia and not stay in a trullo……and this was a beautiful example. Well kitted out, with everything you need – the pizza oven especially, helped to make this an authentic experience. Set in 1 1/2 acres, the garden feels very private and is well stocked with fruit and nut trees. We enjoyed visiting the nearby towns – Ceglie, the nearest town, was full of character and characters(!) and everyone we came across was friendly and helpful. Thank you Sharon for allowing us to stay in your trullo and thank you to Claudia for all your help. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting a tranquil holiday!
“Trullo Truly Full of Charm!”
My husband and I stayed for a week in this beautiful, rural trullo and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in the Puglian countryside. The trullo itself was nicely fitted out, clean and full of charm. I would have been quite happy to have stocked up with the amazing local Italian food and wine, and lazed about at the trullo – swinging in the hammock and cooking in the delightful pizza oven (not just for pizzas!). However, the joy of this holiday was also the location – between the two coastlines. We visited a number of stunning beaches and historical towns during our stay (a hire car is a must) as this area of Italy was not one I had visited before. Beautifully untouristy (apart from Italians “in the know”) we found local restaurants were fantastic value and the places we visited seemed unspoilt. Despite our inadequate Italian, communication was never an issue and locals were all friendly and helpful. I will be returning.
A beautiful quiet holiday home perfect for relaxation!
The Trullo is beautiful building surrounded by the Italian countryside. The property has all the modern features of a home in a great layout and set-up. The Pizza Oven was great fun to try out and the property is not too far from nearby towns. A sat-nav is a good idea as the roads and country lanes all do look quite similar! Thank you Sharon for a lovely peaceful holiday.
Lovely Trullo and area-highly recommend
The Trullo has been nicely kitted out with everything you need and has a really comfortable bed! The outside space is lovely and feels very private. We enjoy meals outside and relaxing on the hammock. It’s in a good place to base yourself to visit all the beautiful towns and countryside of Puglia. Sharon was really responsive and helpful with any information we needed before and during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay in a Trullo and would highly recommend it.
